To Sis. Doty:

At a ladies HELP ME HEAL Conference held in March 2014 in Oscoda, MI, I observed in the last service after a prayer line was almost done, that a short pair of chains were being tossed to the floor. I then remembered where those chains had come from.

The church building we are in was previously an officers club on a former air force base. The building had been left empty for approximately 13 years. The roof leaked, the wooden dance floor buckled, carpeting was rotted, black mold grew through walls, and the smell was horrid!

Those who chains the ladies were tossing to the floor in victory, are what kept the front doors lock. It kept the decay and ugliness in and kept the help out. By removal of the chains, the building began a transformation. Chains were now being broken. For where once there appeared no help, there is now hope and life. That’s what this conference did for this church and the ladies who came.

We are thankful for the ladies who came and held this conference. God did a great work through them and used them in a mighty way.

God bless you,
